Bill Travers doesn’t let anything stand in his way. After experiencing a spinal cord injury from a fall in 2017, he has been determined to get back on the slopes. Bill is a coach of the Chico High School Ski and Snowboard Team and has been for the past eight years.

“I appreciate your effort to get me onto a sit-ski at NorthStar for the Championships last week.  We had a blast, and it was especially satisfying to be back at the top of the racecourse with team members preparing for their runs again.  First time since my accident three years ago!  Everyone was jazzed to see me up there and to see me making turns on beautiful sunny days. Thanks again to all at Achieve Tahoe for helping me achieve this big goal this season – get back on a ski and participate in the Championships.  With your help, I DID IT!!”
