Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Donor information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. Participant information will only be used for the purposes of providing safe and professional sports and recreation programs. Statistical data may be shared with grantors.

Personal information will be retained for a minimum of seven years.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

We do a lot to keep your data safe. While we think we have strong defenses in place, no one can ever guarantee that hackers won’t be able to your data while it is stored or flowing from you to us or vice versa.

We take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect your information from loss, theft, and misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Nevertheless, the internet is not a 100% secure environment, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the transmission or storage of your information. We hold information about you both at our own premises and with the assistance of third-party service providers.

We will monitor for suspicious activity and we will coordinate with law enforcement authorities regarding the incident. We will make necessary enhancements to our systems to detect and prevent future unauthorized access to user information.

Network for Good collects your information for donations, Peer-to-Peer fundraising events, and sign-ups for virtual classes and eNewsletters.

Better Impact collects your information for your volunteer application.

TicketSpice collects your information for event tickets you purchase.

WaiverFile collects your information for your Release of Liability Agreement.

Only Sky collects your information when you make Achieve Tahoe Program reservations.

Square collects your information for merchandise you purchase.

Knack stores participant lesson information.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy notice, or if you believe our privacy notice or applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information have not been respected, you may file a complaint with Achieve Tahoe. We will respond to let you know when you can expect a further response. We may request additional details from you regarding your concerns and may need to engage or consult with other parties in order to investigate and address your issue. We may keep records of your request and any resolution.
