‘Join the Challenge’ with Achieve Tahoe to Build a More Inclusive
Tahoe for People with Disabilities
The Ability Challenge is a community-wide effort to raise funds for Achieve Tahoe programs that build health, confidence, and independence in people with disabilities as well as awareness about the need to create a more inclusive Tahoe for people of all abilities.
People from the community are encouraged to ‘join the challenge’ to help increase awareness about equal access for people with disabilities and to raise funds for Achieve Tahoe’s year-round programs.
This event celebrates diversity, inclusion, and most importantly, shows how anyone of any ability can participate in outdoor recreation like snowsports. Our participants are like everyone else in that they just want to enjoy a day on the slopes and take advantage of the beautiful outdoor recreation Tahoe offers.”
Raise $250 or more to participate in the Ability Challenge celebration in March. The celebration includes a day of on-hill challenge games, team costumes, and a chance to win big prizes such as a California Gold Pass. Entry also includes a lift ticket (if needed), adaptive sports instruction (if needed), and more!
