Getting Between Palisades and Alpine Meadows
Please verify the drop-off location for each bus. Achieve Tahoe is located at Alpine Meadows, but some buses only drop off at Palisades. Palisades provides a weather dependent, free shuttle service that goes between the two mountains. The drop-off location is the same as the pick-up location. Please refer to the schedule below. Contact Palisades transportation in December of 2024 for information regarding wheelchair accessibility.

MGM Transportation
MGM is currently preparing services for the upcoming 24/25 season but has not yet confirmed their availability. Detailed information is expected to be released after September.
Previously, MGM has operated Monday through Friday, but they are now contemplating expanding to include services on Saturday and Sunday. Service availability is contingent upon ticket sales and weather and may be subject to change. They have verified that they possess several buses equipped for wheelchair accessibility. The Northstar parking reservation system will open upon the ski resort opening in December of 2024.
Village View Lots
Reservations are required for Saturday and Sunday and peak periods between 7am -12pm, cost $20 for vehicles with 3 or fewer people, but free for vehicles with 4 or more people
Free parking Monday-Friday and non-peak periods

- Sports Basement offers a powder bus, starting in January, which takes ski trips outside of their regular ski bus schedule when the mountains are receiving a lot of snow.

Tahoe Ski Trips offers two Walnut Creek pick up locations: Walnut Creek Bart on 200 Ignacio Valley Rd and Walnut Creek Park N Ride on the corner of Rudgear & Broadway. Schedule and pick-up location are schedule to change based on weather and companies’ policies.
