A Message from the Executive Director, January 2020
Dear Achieve Tahoe Supporters,
While it has been a year of unexpected challenges for everyone, I am grateful to Achieve Tahoe’s donors, volunteers, staff, participants, and community members who have helped us pivot during this time. Because of this incredible support, we were able to continue to serve our participants and families through COVID-friendly summer activities and expand our reach with virtual programming. We’ve made important modifications to our upcoming winter program to ensure the safety of everyone, while maintaining quality. This trying time has shown how imperative community and a sense of belonging is. While the last year has been difficult, I consider it a success thanks to the 529 children and adults who attended Achieve Tahoe programs and gained new experiences. We all know 2021 will be different, but we’ve grown and adapted since the pandemic first started. For Achieve Tahoe, that means whatever comes our way we will continue the important work of providing programs that build health, confidence, and independence in the many people we serve.
On behalf of everyone at Achieve Tahoe, thank you for making our community even stronger and helping us move forward in meeting our mission!
